Join us for the is webinar featuring special guest Mark Alston, NAREB Public Affairs Committee Chair and State of Housing in Black America Committee Chairman and former Vice President of the California Association of Real Estate Brokers. He will present data, trends and research from NAREB’s 2020 State of Housing in Black America (SHIBA) report. The report gives a detailed view into the real numbers and facts that impact and impede Black families from realizing the dream of homeownership. In 2019, approximately 472,000 home purchase mortgages were obtained by Black homebuyers, over $113 billion in home purchases. The SHIBA Report is designed to shed light on many of the issues centered on foreclosure mitigation, neighborhood blight, and disaster recovery for Blacks.
