March 16, 2020 – In response to the growing concern regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors® (GPAR) is taking the precautionary step to immediately suspend regular office hours through the end of March.
This decision is based on the growing number of reported cases of the virus in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties and a desire to proactively reduce the health and safety risks to our members and professional staff.
During this time, all committee meetings will be conducted via conference call. GPAR’s professional staff will be in touch with all committee members regarding specific arrangements.
In addition, all scheduled GPAR trainings and workshops have been cancelled. If you are registered for an event during this period, professional staff will be in touch with you. If you have registered for classes with our education partner Polley Associates, please check for correspondence from them about cancellations, rescheduling and other options.
GPAR has a strong technology infrastructure in place to support our business continuity that will allow our professional staff to work remotely. Our goal is to serve our members as seamlessly as possible during this time.
GPAR leadership and professional staff will continue to monitor announcements and guidelines from local, state and federal officials. GPAR will give updates as needed to membership, including any new developments about this year’s state continuing education renewal deadline. Again, our goal is to provide uninterrupted service while keeping our GPAR family healthy and safe.
